Venetian beads are handmade, and there are a limited number of people still working this ancient craft, so supplies are limited. Genuine Venetian beads are much more beautiful than their foreign imitations due to the quality of both the glass and the workmanship. Designs are available in a wide array of colors and shapes and incorporate 24kt or sterling silver foil, avventurina (copper sparkles), and millefiori mosaic pieces.
